The Community · annual membership

The people who think about AI the way you do.

Join our community: Senior South African CEOs and MDs, and the people who own AI inside their businesses. Serious about it, honest about the uncertainty, and close enough to your own situation that what they've worked out transfers to you — at a scale you actually recognise.

And you won't work it out from peers alone. You're guided by the brightest AI and business minds — the sharpest global thinking made practical for South Africa, grounded in the live research we run across local business, and the experts we bring into the room alongside you.

One or two seats per company — we keep the group small and well-matched, so the people beside you are genuinely your peers. Apply, and we'll find the right fit.

Two rooms, one membership

You sit with the people who carry what you carry.

So membership runs two rooms. Leaders sit with leaders — peers carrying the same strategic call, running businesses your size. The AI lead sits with the people doing the operational work.

For the MD / CEO

The leaders' room.

Strategic and board-level: where AI takes the business, what to back and what to leave, what good looks like a year out. Among peers who carry the same call — running companies your size, answering to the same kind of board.

For the AI lead

The AI leads' room.

Tactical and operational, first and foremost: making AI actually happen — choosing, governing and scaling the tools, and running the AI work week to week. The strategy talk comes naturally; the room is built for the people doing the doing, among others who own AI inside their orgs.

Why separate? The moment the person you report to is in the room, the candour goes — apart, both rooms stay honest. And one company can hold both seats: the MD in one, their AI lead in the other. One business, seen from the top and from the floor.

What a month feels like

Small enough to ship. Frequent enough to compound.

Momentum fades when AI is everyone's someday problem. Here it's a standing rhythm — every week, every fortnight, every month, the room works on what's live in your real business right now. By quarter-end you don't have notes. You have things done.

Every week

Action Challenge

One focused brief, under two hours, with a tangible output you bring back to the group. The work itself is the point — the room doing it together, not a lecture to sit through.

Every fortnight

Case Clinic

A member brings a real problem to the group. Their peers work it through. You leave with a path, not a podcast.

Every month

Tool Drop

One reviewed tool, one prompt pattern, one workflow — vetted by us, applied by you. No marketplace, no affiliate links.

Every quarter

Progress Review

Re-take the Diagnostic. Benchmark against your own prior score. Decide where the next quarter goes.

Who's beside you

Operators you relate to — not gurus on a stage.

One to two seats per company. The people beside you are running businesses your size, carrying the same concerns, making the same calls — not consultants selling you something, not influencers performing. Each is the one who actually has to make AI happen where they work. That's what makes the conversations honest, and what makes their hard-won lessons transfer to you.

When the cohort meets

The conversations that don't happen on a call.

Membership isn't only the weekly rhythm. Through the year the cohort meets in person — in rooms kept deliberately small and matched by role. There's nothing to sign up for: these come with membership, and the only door is the same short conversation.

Role-tiered peer forums

Monthly · Chatham House Rule

Leaders meet leaders. AI leads meet AI leads. This is your private advisory board you didn't have to build. A small group of peers who meet every month, off the record, to work through what each is facing with AI. The leaders and managers rooms stay separate by design: nobody speaks freely about their gaps in front of the person they report to.

Leaders Dinner

A few evenings a year · by invitation

A hand-selected group of MDs around one table in a private dining area of a good restaurant. No agenda, no slides, nothing recorded — one good question and an honest evening. Invitation-only, and not something you can buy your way into.

And once a year, everyone comes together — members, peers and the wider market — at our national summit. See the summit →

How you join

By invitation, after a short conversation.

One or two seats per company keeps the peer group sharp — so joining starts with a short application, then a conversation. You tell us about your business and what you're doing with AI, we read it ourselves, and if it's the right fit we set up a short call to walk you through exactly what membership involves.

01

Apply

A few minutes — who you are and what your business is wrestling with on AI. The same short application everyone fills, read by a person.

02

A short conversation

We talk fit — your business, your role, what you need — and what membership looks like for you. Real human, no script.

03

Among your peers

If it's a match, you're in — the peer network, the operating system, the monthly cadence, the asset library.

What's inside

Four things you can't get from a YouTube playlist.

The peer network.

The people beside you are champions, not seat-licences — one or two per company, running businesses your size, wrestling with the same questions. The hardest problems are rarely unique; someone in the room has usually been where you are.

The operating system.

The structure most businesses never build for themselves. Before it, getting AI-ready is a strategy deck, a policy PDF, a few scattered tools and a lot of vibes. Inside the operating system it becomes a measurable state you can see, manage and improve — ready from day one.

The cadence.

AI moves fast; left alone, momentum doesn't. Membership runs on a steady rhythm — something to act on each week, something worked through together each month — so you keep shipping instead of drifting. The structure that turns good intentions into a habit.

The asset library.

Everything we wish we'd had when we were figuring this out — proven starting points, ready to use, not theory to file away. You build from something that works instead of a blank page, and it stays current as the tools change.

Before you join

The questions people ask before they reach out.

How is this different from the Programme?

Two different jobs. The Community is the room — it keeps you sharp: peers at your level and a rhythm that keeps you moving, year-round. The Programme is where you build real AI capability across your people — a structured, role-tracked build applied to your actual business. Many members bring their team into the Programme over time; you don't have to start there.

What if I'm not technical?

Most members aren't. AI capability is a leadership skill, a coordination skill and a craft skill — only the last is hands-on. The Community is built for the champion in any of those roles, not the engineer.

Why only one or two seats per company?

Because the peer group dilutes the moment you add team seats — conversations have to dance around the people they shouldn't. One or two champions per company, pulling the rest of the organisation onto the work through the OS, keeps the group honest and worth your time.

Can I cancel?

It's an annual membership, but you're never locked in — you can step out any month. The Community still has to earn its keep every month; that's the whole design. If a month goes by where you didn't ship something real in your business, that's on us, not on you.

What happens after I apply?

We read it ourselves — a real person, not a screen. If there's a fit, a short conversation: we talk through your business, your role, and what you're trying to do with AI, and we walk you through exactly what membership involves. If it's right, you're in; if it isn't, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.

What about my team?

Your team gets the work through your operating system — the playbooks, the prompts, the policies, the training paths. They don't need a seat in our cohort; they need the structure their champion is building for them. That's the design.

Find your peers

Your peers are already in the conversation.

The people already here are the ones who have to make AI happen in their businesses — carrying the same concerns, facing the same uncertainty as you. If that's you, apply: a short application — then a conversation — tells us both whether it's the right fit.
